Richard Buss is Magic Post’s creative editor. He has spent over 40 years working in television making everything from documentaries, drama, entertainment, comedy and sports, to promos, music videos and adverts.

Richard started as a film editor at the BBC and was re-trained as a Video editor using vision mixers and digital effects. After joining ITV he moved into the non-linear world of Lightworks and Avid.

Richard is a creative, intuitive and dedicated editor providing the producer with a well balanced view on what works well for their project. With a solid grounding in story telling from his BBC days, Richard can quickly spot a good story and tease it out of your rushes in a creative way producing an entertaining programme.

There are awards from across the globe on Richard’s shelf including the New York Film festival, London and Chicago Promax/BDA awards, as well several RTS awards over the years plus several BAFTA nominations.
